The Longworth team are currently preparing to make their international exhibiting debut at K 2016. Billed as the World’s No. 1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, K 2016 is a three yearly event and represents the pinnacle of global plastic manufacturing technologies and processes and is held at Messe Dusseldorf. With 19 exhibition halls, 262,000 square metres of hall space and 43,000 square metres of outdoor space, K 2016 is one of the premier trade fair locations in Europe.
The company is planning to use the nine day event to market both the DEECOM® cleaning system and its range of burn-off/pyrolysis ovens. The DEECOM® cleaning system has been sold to a number of customers in the Far East and Americas, whereas the burn-off ovens have been purchased mainly by European based clients. Exhibiting at the trade fair is an indication of the company’s confidence in the application of its technologies worldwide and the ability of these processes to satisfy the needs of high value polymer producers.
The DEECOM® system has been a revolution in polymer filter cleaning, particularly for filtration systems used in the production of superior performance films. These films are used in a wide range of products including solar panels, electrical insulation, LED displays, food packaging and Smart Cards.
Burn-off/pyrolysis ovens have many industrial applications, particularly in the cleaning of extrusion dies, lead-screws, housings and pipe-work. The ovens are also used for the removal of powder coatings from jig and fixtures prior to reuse.
The Longworth staff will be joined at K 2016 by two of the company’s agents from the Far East. Both Andrew Lee from KMI Corp in S Korea and William HSU of SCH Group in Taiwan have represented Longworth for a number of years and are very familiar with the company’s products.
