It’s a proud day at Longworth HQ as we’re awarded re-certification to ISO 9001:2015
We take quality very seriously at Longworth and are very proud of our ISO compliance, practicing its benefits throughout every step in our delivery.
According to the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
Longworth Operations Manager Moira Mackay lives and breathes compliance through our processes and it’s with thanks and credit to her and the team that we’re always confident in our compliance.
This week’s audit report reads, “A transition audit was conducted at Longworth to assess the company’s compliance to their ISO9001 quality management system and to the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 international standard. No actions were required and the auditor recommends re-certification to ISO 9001:2015.”
