Component Cleaning

Component cleaning is available on both a one-off or retained contract basis.

Our service conserves client resources and is kinder to the environment, providing a legitimate alternative to costly component replacement.

Longworth’s state-of-the-art facility incorporates innovative technologies for use in a variety of component cleaning applications including:

  • A variety of ultrasonic and aqueous processes
  • Polymer production filter cleaning equipment
  • Enclosed high-temperature solvent systems
  • Pyrolysis or burn-off ovens
  • Automated high pressure spray washing
  • Slurry flushing
  • DEECOM® super heated steam cleaning

Our component cleaning processes operate in line with BS EN ISO 9001:2008 requirements, an accreditation we’ve held for over 15 years. Our extensive experience allows us to establish and address what type of cleaning process will achieve the best results in relation to any particular type of contamination. In instances where components may appear defective, we arrange for independent inspection by objective third party organisations that identify any flaws, via extensive testing and analysis techniques, including:

  • Bubble and mass testing
  • XPS
  • SEM/EDX

With all of our methods and processes tightly controlled and stringently monitored, we’re able to cater for the component cleaning requirements of most clients, delivering a high standard of service backed up by unrivalled aftersales support, troubleshooting and cleanliness validation.
