Longworth in Korea

In late December, Longworth were very excited to host a visit from a major Korean PET film producer. The customer has shown great interest in purchasing a complete DEECOM® system to be used for cleaning their stainless disc and candle filters. The system package will include ultrasonic tanks, a drying oven, filter test equipment, a disc
stack assembly station as well as the patented DEECOM® super heated steam cleaning unit.
The customer has recently arranged a second visit in early February during which time a trial filter stack cleaning process will be carried out. The filter stack will then return to the customer’s facility in Korea for evaluation prior to fitment to one of their production lines.
A complete cleaning system of this type can be produced from order to completion ready for despatch in less than 26 weeks. Longworth, will design, build and commission the equipment. Site layout advice and full operator training will be included in the package.
Full support for site use will be provided after commission with remote diagnostics available for the DEECOM® unit if required. In previous installations, use of the remote diagnostics have allowed Longworth Engineers to notify the users of plant issues such as low steam pressure from the boiler and air compressor failure.
